PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely efficiently treat hair by applying a depilatory or an external preparation to human bodies as a medicinal or cosmetic material as the depila tory or the external preparation inhibits growth of hair on the skins of mammals and use the depilatory or the external preparation as a wool- harvesting agent. SOLUTION: These depilatory and external preparation contain endothelin or its agonist.
