PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless mobile communication system, that has the function of conducting hands-off from an asynchronous base station to a synchronous base station by utilizing a receiver which receives information related to the synchronous base station and to provide a hands-off method in this system. SOLUTION: The wireless mobile communication system includes at least one asynchronous base station 310, at least one synchronous base station 320 that is adjacent to the asynchronous base station 310 and transmits a channel signal, at least one duplex mode mobile station 300, that can selectively communicate with the asynchronous base station or the synchronous base station and a reception section 330 that is connected to the asynchronous base station, receives the channel signal, decodes the signal and transmits the decoded signal too the asynchronous base station.
