PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data base operating method capable of sufficiently holding the security of a data base without introducing a special data base client software and easily operating the data base. SOLUTION: This data base operating method is to connect a data base server 1 in which the data base 11 storing a client terminal 3 to be communicated and to operate the data base 11 by using the client terminal 3 and characterized by inputting operating conditions for the data base 11, acquiring connection information for connecting to the data base 11 and performing a request to a host server 2 based on the acquired connection information and the inputted operating conditions in the client terminal 3.
