PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that captures a plurality of video signals in the same timing, eliminates the need for transferring the video signals to a work area and minimizes redundancy. SOLUTION: A video signal capture section 2 simultaneously captures a plurality of video signals. A data control section 3 stores image data, having already been captured to an image memory 10 for a capturing period. The storage address can be obtained through a combinations of a value preset to an area number register 5 and counts of a line counter 6 and a pixel counter 7 which correspond to a position of the pixel, in cross-reference with each video signal. The image memory 10 is used in common as a work area for a CPU 11.
