PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a characteristic by increasing the winding number of a thin-film coil without any great increases in DC resistance or the like in an interactive thin-film magnetic head having a magnetic circuit formed on a substrate by a thin-film process. SOLUTION: At least four magnetic columns 5, 6, 7 and 8 passing magnetic fluxes in a direction vertical to a substrate 2 are provided and, by respectively winding thin-film coils 11, 12, 13 and 14 on these at least four magnetic columns 5, 6, 7 and 8, at least four thin-film coils 11, 12, 13 and 14 are provided within a roughly identical plane. Thus, without increasing the outer diameter of each of the thin-film coils 11, 12, 13 and 14 or reducing the pattern width of each of the thin-film coils 11, 12, 13 and 14, then winding number of the entire thin- film coils is increased.
