PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying-out device of an automatic vending machine which can smoothly vend articles by preventing a lower pedal from twisting owing to the partial load of an article while making the device thin. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with pedals 10 and 30 which are pivotally supported in an opening part 7 of a substrate 6 to control articles carried out of an article passage 4a, an opening/closing mechanism 50 which freely opens and closes the pedal 10 and 30 so that the pedals appear and sink on the side of the article passage 4a from the substrate 6, a bearing member 52 which is arranged nearby the center part of the substrate 60 to support pins 11, 20, 21, 22, 31, etc., a deformation preventive rib 30g which is projected nearby the center part of the lower pedal 30 and abuts against the lock pin 22 when the pedal 30 is open to the side of the article passage 4a to bear the load of an article placed on the lower pedal 30; and a stopper part 30h is recessed in its tip part to make smooth of the attachment and detachment of the lock pin 22 when the pedals are opened and closed.
