PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the parallelism between the width direction of a paper sheet mounted on a sheet mount and the axial direction of a sheet feed roller. SOLUTION: The sheet mount 10 formed with a slide guide 23 parallel in the sheet width direction is so provided as to approach to/separate from the bottom face 11 of a tray 9, a sheet feed roller 13 feeding the sheet mounted on the sheet mount 10 is arranged opposite to the downstream side in the sheet feed direction of the sheet mount 10, an energizing member 14 energizing the sheet mount 10 in the direction approaching to the sheet feed roller 13 is arranged between the tray 9 and the sheet mount 10, and a transmission arm 15 having two pinions 16 rotationally moving in a plane approximately crossing at right angles with the carrier direction of the paper sheet carried by the sheet feed roller 13 and mutually engaged with each other, arm parts 17 extended from the pinions respectively, and connecting portions 18 formed in the tips of the arms 17 and guided by the slide guide 23 is arranged between the tray 9 and the sheet mount 10 in the downstream side in the sheet feed direction.
