PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a filter processing means for an analog host signal. SOLUTION: A digital receiver 150 for receiving the analog host signal having at least one digital sideband has a band erasing filter 152 at least partially located on the intermediate frequency(IF) processing stage of that receiver. The analog host signal of a received composite signal is filtered by the band erasing filter 152 on the IF processing stage of the receiver so that the analog host signal can be remarkably attenuated and passed through the digital sideband. In embodiment, the band erasing filter 152 is located between an IF buffer amplifier 120 and an input part 122 of an automatic gain control(AGC) circuit inside the IF processing stage. Thus, an AGC operating point is determined mainly by the digital sideband.
