PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent current consumption from exceeding the maximum rating of a power source, by limiting the number of keys which are held simultaneously touched. SOLUTION: The keyboard device has a drive signal forming means for forming drive signals, for driving and holding the keys corresponding to playing data to a touched state and a control means for stopping the formation of the drive signals by the drive signal forming means related to the keys among the keys driven and held to the touched state by the drive signals, when the number of the keys driven and held to the touched state by the drive signals formed by the drive signal forming means exceed a prescribed number. |
