PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder easily installed at a game machine and capable of stably holding also containers other than cups. SOLUTION: This holder comprises a holder body 2 having a rising face 1; a holder base 3 provided in a vertically rotatable manner at the holder body 2, relative to the rising face 1; holder arms 4 provided at the holder base 3; a locking means 5 for locking the holder base 3 to the holder body 2 side; and an energizing means 6 for energizing the holder base 3 to rise from the holder body 2 side when the holder base 3 is locked to the holder body 2 side by the locking means 5.
