PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dewater or spill boiling water such as stock rapidly, easily, safely, and properly for those foodstuffs cooked according to a cooking purpose. SOLUTION: This boiling water spill spatula is formed of a shank part and a main body part having a dewatering part. The dewatering part is formed of innumerably large number of fine holes and a plurality of through-grooves, and the size of the fine holes is generally such that can prevent a rice particle from passing therethrough. The width of each of the plurality of through-holes is formed narrower gradually, and locking parts for balls and other containers are provided on the main body part. Thus, the boiling water spill spatula can be engaged stably with the edge of the container at the time of spill of boiling water.
