PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out individual paper sheets positively from a paper sheet processing machine without depending upon the type of paper sheets to be processed or the speed of the machine. SOLUTION: The speed of a suction belt 15 is kept at the same speed as that of a paper sheet. The paper sheet 14 to be taken out is sucked by the suction belt 15 to open a biting claw 6. The suction belt 15 is decelerated a little in a short time, so that the paper sheet 14 is pulled out of the biting claw 6 and is then accelerated to at least the speed kept just now again. Finally, the paper sheet 14 is discharged while being decelerated. |
