PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a frequency band scanning method for quicker synchronization of loops. SOLUTION: Only when an error exists in a specified range, information to be outputted to the output part of a detector is linearly changed together with the detected error. When it is desired to recover a greater error, the detector is linearly operated and an oscillator is used for covering a wide frequency band for each part until discovering the part of the frequency band enabled in the synchronism of loops. In the method for quickly covering the frequency band, this method has a selection step for selecting the initial part, which is almost the center of the frequency band, to cover in the frequency band and a selection step for selecting the next part, which is not covered yet and is closest to the first part in the direction of a frequency to become high or low, to cover in the frequency band as a prescribed reference function. |
