PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burst communication system using a preamble for deciding the existence of a burst and deciding precise carrier wave frequency, carrier wave phase, symbol clock frequency and symbol clock phase. SOLUTION: A preamble 402 comprises an initial pulse 420 and a Barker sequence 44 which is separated into a dead time 430 period equal to the transmission period of one symbol and follows an initial pulse dead time 430 period. The preamble can be transmitted on orthogonal carrier waves. Th order of one carrier wave is inverted and it is multiplied by -1. Thus, probability that noise events on the carrier waves make the detection of Barker sequence on the respective channels difficult is reduced. |
