PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize uniform direct injection electrification in a device to elec trify a member to be electrified by applying a voltage to an electrifying member by disposing conductive particles between the electrifying member and the member to be electrified. SOLUTION: An electrifying member which possesses a surface of a fine mesh structure having recessed cells and whose cell edge length is 15 mm/mm2-60 mm/mm2 is used.
