PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more accurate informations to an inspector and to recognize condition of each tissue at a glance. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for ophthalmology provided with an ultrasonic probe which transmits ultrasonic waves to a subject to be inspected and receives reflected echoes from the subject to be inspected, an image of informations of the reflected echoes received by means of the ultrasonic probe is displayed by stretching and contracting it based on variably set values on the ultrasonic converted speed of sound in the subject to be inspected. In addition, tissues of the eyes to be inspected are distinguished from the informations on the reflected echoes and are displayed by being added with informations for distinguishing.
