PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency-controlled AC power to a catheter. SOLUTION: An AC power amplifier 60 is provided for supplying the AC current of a selected frequency. The AC power amplifier is provided with a reference oscillator 88 for providing a reference pulse stream signal having a frequency, which is the multiple of the selected frequency, a dividing means 90 for first obtaining a pulse stream by dividing the reference pulse stream signal with a value equal to the result dividing this multiple with '2', and next obtaining a final rectangular wave pulse stream to be switched between a first greater value and a second smaller value by the selected frequency while having a 50% duty cycle by dividing the obtained pulse stream with '2', and switching means 98 and 100 for alternately switching a power with the selected frequency corresponding to the final pulse stream. |
