PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact sliding door device having excellent assembleabililty. SOLUTION: In this sliding door device 9, one slide pin insertion groove 23C for guiding and moving a pair of slide pins 29, 29 at an assembling time of the pair of slide pins 29, 29 to a slide guide groove 23B is formed in communication with the slide guide groove on an opposite face of each frame side plate part. Hereby, only one slide pin insertion groove is required to be formed on the frame side plate part, therefore, decline of strength of the frame side plate part can be prevented, and a structure hardly allowing the slide pin to slip out can be obtained. A slide plate can be mounted on a frame only by passing the slide pins through the slide pin insertion groove.
