PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make judgeable whether or not a personal computer to be used by a user is receiving printing restriction by itself before the printing data are transmitted to a network. SOLUTION: A printer 10 is connected to a host computer 2 for manager and a host computer 1 for user via a network 3, the host computer 2 has a user management information file 22 to perform the printing restriction to the use, the user management information file 22 is referred to when the host computer 1 makes the printer 10 to print the printing data, and the printing restriction is performed according to the contents of user management information.
