PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polymerized toners which does not form scale-like deposits on the surfaces of parts projecting to the gaseous phase section of a polymerization vessel among the members constituting a polymerization device in a polymerization stage. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polymerized toners having the colored polymer particles obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition having at least a polymerizable monomer, coloring agents, release agent and crosslinking agent in an aqueous dispersion medium consists in cooling the surfaces of the parts projecting to the gaseous phase section of the polymerization vessel 1 among the members constituting the polymerization device by a cooling medium during polymerization.
