PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorptive article which becomes thinner in thickness and compacter in external form when the article is packed in a package and thicker in thickness when the article is taken out of the package and can be used with a high feeling of security. SOLUTION: In the absorptive article 1 provided with a surface sheet 2, a rear sheet 3, and an absorbent body 4, a nonwoven fabric 44 having a basis weight of 20-100 g/m2, a no-load thickness of 1-10 mm, and a compression recovery rate (b/a×100) [where, (a) represents the thickness (precompression thickness, mm) of the fabric 44 after the fabric 44 is left as it is for 24 hours under a no-load condition and (b) represents the thickness (mm) of the fabric 44 when the fabric 44 is left as it is for 30 minutes after the fabric 44 is compressed with a pressure of 17.6 kPa for 24 hours] of >=60% between the rear sheet 3 and absorbent body 4, between the surface sheet 2 and the body 4, in the body 4, or at a plurality of sports on the sheets 2 and 3 and body 4.
