PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new substituted (dihydro)benzoxazine and a (dihydro) benzothiazine compound having affinity to melatonin agonist receptor. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I. [R1 and R2 are each a halogen atom or the like; G is R, OR or the like; and X is oxygen or sulfur atom.], concretely, the compound is N-[2-(6-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro-4H-1,4- benzoxazine-4-yl)-ethyl]acetamide,N-[2-(6-methoxy-2,3-dihydro-4H-1,4- benzoxazine-4-yl)ethyl] acetamide or the like, and its enantiomer or diastereo isomer or its pharmaceutically acceptable acid or its salt or its addition salt.
