PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional telephone set stand capable of housing at telephone set and a battery charger incorporated in the set thereby charging the battery of the telephone set and reporting the incoming call of the telephone by light or sound. SOLUTION: The telephone set stand for hosing the telephone set 8 incorporated with the battery such as a portable telephone such as a general portable telephone set and a simplified portable telephone set or a cordless telephone set is provided with a telephone set housing part 1 for housing the telephone set 8 and a charger housing part 11 for housing the charger 12 of the battery which is incorporated in the set 8, and also an incoming call guide function for reporting the incoming call of the telephone by sound and/or light.
