PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fine an element by manufacturing a magnetic-sensitive type tunnel junction superconductive element, without restrictions while operating in units of magnetic flux quantum. SOLUTION: This tunnel junction superconducting element that is a junction element of normal metal/paramagnetic body barrier/superconductor is manufactured, where the voltage terminal and a current terminal are provided at a normal metal electrode and four terminals of two terminals are provided on the superconductor. The paramagnetic body barrier is sensitive to a magnetic field and outputs the fluctuation of an output voltage (or current). The element is used for magnetic sensor. Furthermore, the element is used for the memory, where two ferromagnetic body thin films and two writing signal means for magnetizing the ferromagnetic thin film are provided on the paramagnetic thin film in the element, to store information and to read stored information from the voltage terminal or the current terminal. Also, the element is used for a logic element or a switching means, where a plurality of input signal lines are provided on the tunnel junction superconducting element, the paramagnetic body barrier is magnetized by an input signal, and the signals of the voltage terminal or the current terminal are used as the output.
