N - (polyethoxy) 18 - N<SP>1</SP> - decyl - hexamethylenediamine is prepared from hexamethylene diamine and decyl chloride, followed by treatment with ethylene oxide. This is treated with ethyl formate to yield N-formyl-N-hydroxyethyl - (polyoxyethyl) 18 - N<SP>1</SP> - formyl - N<SP>1</SP> - decyl hexamethylene diamine. 3,6,9,12 - Tetraazaformyl - 4,7,10 - trimethyl - eicosyl alcohol is obtained from 2 - [2 - (2 - octyl - aminoisopropylamino) isopropylamino] - isopropylamine and ethylene oxide. N.(2.hydrozyethyl)-N-ethylformamide is obtained from 2-aminoethanol, ethyl chloride and ethyl formate.</p> |
