SUBSTANCE: impact is delivered to material under test by means of indenter at rate of v0 and duration of plasto-elastic deformation is measured and hardness of material is judge from this determination; maximum acceleration of indenter in penetration phase, as well as acceleration of indenter in pushing-out phase corresponding to moment of breaking of indenter off material is determined; difference between these accelerations is indicative of limit of elasticity of material.
