PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of improving the efficiency of an image processing by controlling write and read operations to a memory and optimizing write and read processings to the memory corresponding to the image processing. SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with an SIMD type arithmetic processing part 401, plural RAMs 409 connected to the SIMD type arithmetic processing part 401 and a memory controller B407b for controlling the respective plural RAMs 409. Also, a control register 603 connected to the memory controller B407b controls the transfer of image data performed between the RAMs 409 and the SIMD type arithmetic processing part 401.
