PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an up/down channel selecting device by which a station is rapidly selected with an excellent operability without a troublesomeness by solving a problem that the station is successively selected even when program contents are the same in each channel concerning HDTV in the case of performing the up/down channel selection of a BS digital TV broadcasting through the use of a present up/down channel selecting method. SOLUTION: When the digital TV broadcasting is received in the case of an HDTV broadcasting, the individual related channels are integrated to perform processing by a control circuit (microcomputer) 14 and the up/down channel selecting operation is performed by permitting the channels to form single channel form.
