PHASE CONTRAST FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase contrast film whose refractive index in the film thickness direction is controlled corresponding to the portion of the film. SOLUTION: The film consists of a liquid crystal layer showing optical anisotropy. The liquid crystal layer consists of a plurality of domains having different tilt direction of liquid crystal molecules to the liquid crystal layer face by aligning the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer in a nematic hybrid state and fixing the aligned state.
