PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of circuit scale that the FF of (X+Y)×n bits is required since the number of input bits is X+Y bits when data after baseband processing are X bits and the number of bits of a gain is defined as Y in the conventional filter with variable gain of this type. SOLUTION: A selector 15 for adjusting the gain and a multiplier 16 are located inside the filter and when the number of input bits to the filter is selected as X, the number of FF inside the filter becomes X×n bits so that the number of FF can be reduced for Y×n bits. Thus, circuit scale can be reduced by integrating a gain control circuit, which is conventionally located on the prestage of the filter, into the filter.
