<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image pickup device, that can singly display icons on its map display and allows an operator to display an image linked with an icon selected by the operator. SOLUTION: A table, consisting of position data or the like, is generated from red position information and icons corresponding to the longitude and the latitude in the table are displayed on a map. In a step S11, a display area of the map is obtained on the basis of range information of the map, magnification rate and reduction rate. In step S12, the presence/absence of the position information table which is not processed yet is checked. When there is any unprocessed table, one image of position data is read from the table in a step S13, and whether the read position data are within a map display area obtained in the step S11 is decided (S14). If the position data are within the display area, icons are displayed on the map (S15). A desired icon is selected from among the displayed icons, and when the enter key is depressed, an image photographed corresponding to the position of the icon is displayed.</p> |
