<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for predicting the demand of a plant for easily facilitating a countermeasure to the change of the fluctuating pattern of the demand, and for reducing operation man-hours. SOLUTION: A demand to a plant which supplies energy is observed, and time-sequential patterns in one day constituted of the demand in each time are classified by each day when the patterns have commonality, and stored in a data base 2. Then, the present time-sequential patterns are applied to the classification patterns, and which classification patterns the time-sequential patterns are pertinent is estimated, and the pertinent classification patterns are corrected by the time series until the present time, and the following time series are predicted.</p> |
