<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion device, which is capable of ensuring sufficient amount of charge and a light-receiving area, even if pixels are reduced in size and obtaining signals which are almost free of noise charges and are of high image quality. SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device is equipped with pixels, which are each composed of a photoelectric conversion element and at least one or more transistors, a first element isolating region 401 is provided between the photoelectric conversion elements of the adjacent pixels, and a second element isolating region 402 is provided between the adjacent pixels or between the photoelectric conversion element and the transistor of the pixel, where the effective width of the first element isolating region 401 is narrower than that of the second element isolating region 402.</p> |
