PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film information reader which has simple constitution, consists of the small number of components, and is assembled with small man- hours. SOLUTION: Plural DX segments 46 which are energized and pressed against the DX code provided on the external wall of a film cartridge 100 are clamped together with a screw 47 to a flexible printed board 42 where electric wiring patterns for the respective DC segments are arranged; went the film cartridge 100 is not loaded, abutting parts 49 provided at the DX segments 46 abut against a grounding pattern 44 arranged on the flexible printed board 42 with the elastic force of the DC segment itself and when the film cartridge 100 is loaded, the abutting parts 49 leave the grounding pattern 44.
