PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluating method for an object in a course shift of a vehicle which can suitably shift a current control object. SOLUTION: When target objects Z0 and Zi are present, only the target object Zi present in an area limited with at least one parameter determined by the position of a vehicle F is evaluated as a new target object Zi instead of the current target object Z0.
