PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording ink that has a high color strength and can print regenerated paper with less bleeding, and an ink jet recording equipment. SOLUTION: There is provided an ink jet recording ink comprising at least a water-soluble coloring material, a water-soluble organic solvent and water, which ink further comprises a substance having a structure shown by formula (I): R-POm-EOn-H wherein R is a compound given by formula (II); K-M- O[wherein K is a 4-10C cycloalkane or cycloalkene ring, a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; M is of a carbon number of 0 or is a CNH2N (N is 1-12), joined directly to K, showing the case of a singular or plural number, (where the case is of a plural number, the structure sometimes differs); and O is oxygen] PO is a propyleneoxy group; EO is an ethyleneoxy group; H is hydrogen; m and n are each a repeating unit, showing an average value in the whole system, and EO and PO show the presence in the molecule and are not related to the order}. |
