CATHODE RAY TUBE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a cathode ray tube by reducing the burrs of a punched plate grid electrode constituting an electron gun and reduce the cost by reducing the number if manufacturing processes for the plate grid elec trode constituting the electron gun. SOLUTION: In a first punching process, the outline of the plate grid electrode is formed, and in the next punching process, a cut-off line of the plate grid electrode is formed. The angle of a crossing between the outline and the cut-off line is within 70-110 degrees.
