PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resin-hardening which is free from 'burning', 'bulging' and deformation of a shape by making adhesion of resin to a carrier tape better. SOLUTION: The resin-hardening method has a tape feed exhaust process wherein the carrier tape 3 to which resin 5 for sealing an element 4 is applied, is fed from a tape inlet 15 of an oven 2, and discharged from a tape outlet 16 of the oven 2, and a heat hardening process wherein resin 5 is hardened by heating in the oven 2 while a feed direction of the carrier tape 3 is reversed by reversing means 6 and 7 in the tape feed discharge process. Then, the heat hardening process contains an indirect heat process wherein platens 11, 12 and 13 to be heated by heating elements 8, 9 and 10 are arranged between one side of the carrier tape 3 and the heating elements 8, 9 and 10 being heat sources and the carrier tape 3 is indirectly heated under a state distances between the heating elements 8, 9 and 10 and the platens 11, 12 and 13 are made respectively larger than distances between the carrier tape 3 and the platens 11, 12 and 13. Further, a resin-hardening apparatus realizes the resin-hardening method as the apparatus.
