PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional material suitable for a vibration actuator using a vibrator having a high resonance frequency. SOLUTION: The vibration actuator comprises a vibrator having an electro- mechanical converter excited in response to a driving frequency to be inputted, and the frictional material provided between the vibrator and a relatively moving member and operating together with the vibration of the vibrator. In this case, the relatively moving member is relatively moved to the vibrator by the frictional force of the material and the moving member. The driving frequency inputted to the converter is 100 kHz or more. The flexual modulus of the frictional material of a resin is 13 GPa or more. This resin is provided on its at least surface contacted with the moving member. |
