ZN-FE ALLOY PLATING APPARATUS HAVING SUPERIOR CRITICAL CURRENT DENSITY

PURPOSE: A plating apparatus is provided which manufactures a Zn-Fe alloy electroplated steel sheet having superior surface quality by installing each two of the upper and lower solution spraying nozzles of carosel type electroplating apparatus so as to forming a strong vortex flow between the steel sheet and an anode, thereby increasing the critical current density to prevent edge burning of the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: In a carosel type electroplating apparatus consisting of a storage tank storing a plating solution, a conductor roll (1) guiding the steel sheet so that a steel sheet to be plated is dipped into the plating solution in the storage tank (4) and transferred, a soluble anode (3) dipped into the plating solution and arranged surrounding the conductor roll (1), a pair of supporting rolls (2) installed at the outside of the storage tank (4) for supporting a steel sheet (5) supplied to the conductor roll (1), and a plurality of spray nozzles for spraying the plating solution from the plating solution supplying tank to the steel sheet (5) wound up the conductor roll (1), the spray nozzles comprise a first spray nozzle spraying the plating solution in the same direction as the transferring direction of the steel sheet guided by the conductor roll so that a large vortex flow of the solution is formed between the steel sheet and the anode; and a second spray nozzle spraying the plating solution in the opposite direction to the transferring direction of the steel sheet.
