PURPOSE: A gold powder manufacturing method is provided to slowly proceed with the reduction reaction for controlling the average particle size of the gold powder, thereby obtaining the gold powder of spherical particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-1.5micrometers with high yield. CONSTITUTION: A gold powder manufacturing method includes the steps of adding nitrohydrochloric acid to a gold ingot having a purity of 99.99%, dissolving the gold ingot at a temperature 91-100°C, heating the gold ingot for removing nitric acid, and evaporating and drying the result, dissolving the dried result by adding thick hydrochloric acid and evaporating and concentrating the result at a temperature of 90-100°C for producing HAuC14, controlling the concentration of HAuC14 to 1-10% by adding distilled water to the produced HAuC14, forming a gold complex by adding an ammonia liquid while stirring the liquid to be maintained at a temperature of 35°C and with the concentration of 1-10% until the pH of the liquid reaches 11-12, and producing gold powder having the particle shape of a sphere and an average particle diameter of 0.5-1.5mm by filtering, cleaning and drying gold ions after reducing and depositing the gold ions by adding hydroquinone as an organic reduction agent to the liquid in which the gold complex is formed.
