APPARATUS FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION OF COMBUSTION CHAMBER OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE: An apparatus which measures temperature distribution of the upper and lower parts of the inside of the combustion chamber of a coke oven is provided to prevent quality deviation of coke due to deviation of the temperature distribution of the upper and lower parts of the inside of the combustion chamber, and a means which can measure the temperature distribution of the upper and lower parts of the inside of the combustion chamber in a short time without requiring of a cooling system. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring the temperature distribution of a combustion chamber of a coke oven comprises a measuring probe (13) in which optical fiber sensors (11) are installed for carrying out temperature measurement for positions each of which are located differently in the vertical direction of the wall part inside the combustion chamber (2); a transferring apparatus (15) transferring the measuring probe (13); an optical fiber temperature gauge (14) of multichannel type; and a computer system (16) for data processing in which measured data are stored and processed.
