PURPOSE: A fuel reduction and alarm control system of a diesel vehicle is provided to feed the optimal amount of fuel corresponding to a fuel line pressure by reducing the amount of fuel if the line pressure is lower than a preset pressure. CONSTITUTION: A fuel reduction and alarm control system of a diesel vehicle includes: a detector(20) measuring a fuel pressure in an engine line; a first comparator(21) comparing the fuel pressure with a first threshold level(Level-th1) if the fuel pressure is lower than a required pressure; a second comparator(22) comparing the fuel pressure with a second threshold level(Level-th2); a first filter(23) and a second filter(24) filtering noise of the level signals; a first multiplexer(25) outputting the value corresponding to the filtered signal of the first filter lower than the level; a first timer(26) measuring whether the fuel pressure lower than the threshold level is within preset time; a first OR circuit(27) performing a logical OR operation with a signal lower than the second threshold level and the first timer signal; a second multiplexer(28) outputting a signal corresponding to the first OR circuit signal; a second timer(29) measuring the signal lower than the first threshold level is within preset time; a second OR circuit(30) for a logical OR operation between the comparing signal of the second timer and an error signal of the second filter; and a third multiplexer(31) outputting a larger signal of the first and the second multiplexer signals. The second OR gate outputs a light-off signal regardless of any signals of the second filter if the time value of the second timer exceeds the preset time. Therefore, the system warns a driver of the exceeding time.
