METHOD FOR PREVENTING INFLOW OF AIR IN WALKING BEAM TYPE HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE: A method for preventing an inflow of air is provided to prevent the inflow of external air from an inlet into a walking beam typed heating furnace. CONSTITUTION: Spaces are formed in an inlet of a walking beam typed heating furnace to flow in external air according to a transferring movement of heated materials. In lifting and advancing the heated materials, the external air to be entered through inflow areas(9,11) is spread into the heating furnace. The inflow of the external air is prevented by installing and operating a gas injector in the inflow areas during the lifting and the advancement of the heated materials. Thereby, an increase of an oxygen amount and a falling of a temperature are prevented.
