DEVICE FOR PREVENTING OVERLOAD OF MATERIAL FEEDER

PURPOSE: An overload preventing device of a material feeder is provided to protect power train components from overloads by generating a slip on the middle of a power train system. CONSTITUTION: An overload preventing deice of a material feeder consists of a clutch sleeve(50) installed in a shaft(44) with a frictional face(52) contacted with one side of a slave gear(42); a frictional plate(60) pressurizing the slave gear to the frictional face; a clutch spring(70) transmitting elastic pressurizing force to the slave gear through the frictional plate; and a lock nut(80) adjusting the elastic pressurizing force of the clutch spring. Then, the material feeder transmits power from a driving motor(40) to a sprocket wheel(46) through the slave gear and the shaft. In case of the application of overloads, the clutch sleeve and the frictional plate slide to intercept power in the middle.
