METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TENSION OF STRIP IN TENSION LEVELER

PURPOSE: A control method of tension in a strip is provided to secure the tension stability by leveling force of every power source. CONSTITUTION: In a tension mode to maintain tension of a strip between an inlet bridle roller and an outlet bridle roll, tension of the inlet bridle roll is calculated through a load distributing device(16a) with a tension leveler set tension(T2set). Tensions of a main motor, a stretching motor and an inlet torch motor are calculated by an inlet planetary gear mechanism. The tensions are fed to a tension command(Tref) of an inlet torch motor/stretching motor controller. The tensions of the stretching motor and the inlet torch motor are fed back. A load is distributed through the load distributing device(16a) as a difference between the fed back tension(Tfbk) and the strip set tension(T2set). The distributed tension are compensated into the inlet torch motor and the stretching motor.
