PURPOSE: A DC voltage converter is provided to have high power density and extend a hold-up time. CONSTITUTION: A diode(D7) and a capacitor(C7) are included in a rectifying part. A plurality of field effect transistors(FET)(Q2,Q3,Q4,Q5) receive a pulse width modulation signal through each gate and performs a switching operation. Capacitors(C8,C9) perform charging and discharging operations according to the switching operation of the respective field effect transistors. Diodes(D8,D9,D10) rectify a voltage output through a drain of a source of the transistors(Q3,Q5). The rectifying part receives an AC power and converts the same into a DC power. The plurality of transistors switching amplify the voltage rectified by the rectifying part. The pulse width modulation circuit provides a signal for controlling an on-time duty of the respective transistors. A plurality of charge strong elements perform the charging and discharging operations according to the switched condition of the transistors.
