BASE STATION FOR W-CDMA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING PHASE EQUALIZER BANK AND PHASE COMPENSATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A base station for a W-CDMA(Wideband-Code Division Multiple Access) communication system having a phase equalizer bank and a phase compensating method thereof are provided to arrange a phase equalizer bank enabling terminals having mutually different phase distortion characteristics to be included in one base station. CONSTITUTION: Signals are received from a terminal. The received signal is transmitted to a phase equalizer corresponding to a phase equalizer bank(304). The corresponding phase equalizer band(304) compensates the phase of the received signal. The compensated signal is transmitted to a corresponding user signal processor(307). The corresponding user signal processor(307) back-diffuses the transmitted signal.
