PURPOSE: A method for testing a channel card using a voice mail of a mobile communication system is provided to simultaneously transmit test target channel card/test target channel element numbers with voice mail numbers, and to allocate a traffic channel by one call connection. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal inputs a test target channel card number and a channel element number to transmit a call(ST21). If a call request is generated(ST22), a base station identifies whether the call is a voice mail connection call(ST23). If so, the base station gives a traffic channel to the channel card number and the channel element number(S25), and identifies whether the traffic channel is capable of being allocated(S26). If so, the base station performs a call process(ST27), and notifies state information of a test target channel card(ST28), then completes the call.
