PURPOSE: A variable frequency damper is provided to control frequency finely, and to reduce tuning time of a dynamic damper by installing plural elastic members having various frequency characteristics in a mass. CONSTITUTION: A frequency control damper is composed of a base plate(3) having first plural slots(9) formed crosswise, first brackets(13) with bolt assembling holes(19) in both ends, and installation holes formed in both sides; a mass(5) having second plural slots(17) crosswise corresponding to the first slots of the base plate, and second bracket(21) with bolt fitting holes in both ends of both sides; plural elastic members(7) having each frequency and connecting the first slot of the base plate to the second slot of the mass; a first stop bar(17) longitudinally installed in both sides of the base plate through the bolt assembling hole of the first bracket in the base plate; and a second stop bar(29) longitudinally installed in both sides of the mass through the bolt fitting hole of the second bracket. The elastic member is fitted to first and second slots, and composed of a rubber pad having ledges(25) in both ends.
